A three-day refresher course for existing holders of the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care. The programme revisits structured assessment, emergency communication, airway care, resuscitation, haemorrhage control and management of common medical and traumatic emergencies. Classroom work includes clinical simulation and practical review of equipment use and major incident principles. The purpose is to maintain and reassess skills linked to an existing award, not to provide an initial FREC qualification. Learners must still hold a valid certificate at the point of enrolment.
