A five-day entry-level clinical first response course preparing learners to identify and manage time-critical illness and injury before hospital arrival. MediPro teaches primary and secondary assessment, respiratory care, severe bleeding, trauma management, medical emergencies, CPR and defibrillation. Teaching combines theory with practical skill stations and realistic simulations. The nationally regulated award is relevant to event medics, ambulance support workers and people progressing through first-response education. It is not equivalent to professional registration as an EMT or paramedic.
