An on-demand study day examining barriers to care for autistic patients, people with learning disability and patients with complex needs. The programme is co-produced with patients and families and considers health inequalities, practical improvements and relevant legal issues. Although designed around emergency department presentations, the principles can inform ambulance communication, reasonable adjustments, handover and decision-making before hospital arrival. Speakers also consider the needs of neurodivergent colleagues. The provider publishes seven RCEM CPD points and a fixed date when access to the learning content ends.
