This specialist Cardiff University airway course uses preparatory e-learning and high-fidelity small-group simulation for clinicians already skilled in laryngoscopy and airway management. Advertised stations cover rapid and delayed sequence intubation, soiled-airway techniques, challenging anatomy, cardiac-arrest airway management and emergency front-of-neck access. Its prehospital application concerns advanced resuscitation teams undertaking time-critical airway care outside hospital. The course is not a route for untrained ambulance staff to acquire independent intubation privileges. Eleven CPD points are published, separate from total learning hours.
