This First Response Emergency Care Level 3 course develops the assessment and response skills needed by people working in emergency first response and related prehospital environments. It incorporates structured patient assessment, recognising medical and traumatic presentations, practical interventions and safe professional decision-making. The qualification is relevant to event medical responders and those developing a formal foundation in emergency care. It should not be confused with paramedic registration or automatic entry to a particular ambulance job role.
