Cardiff University's Major Trauma Life Support programme combines advance online learning with a one-day, high-fidelity trauma simulation session in Cardiff. Its published curriculum covers cABCDE assessment, major haemorrhage control, airway priorities, shock, head injury, spinal care and safeguarding. It also examines pre-alerts and the way emergency teams prepare to receive severely injured patients.
