Health and Safety Policy for EMSUK Learning:
At EMSUK Learning, the safety and well-being of our employees, volunteers, and visitors are of utmost importance to us. As such, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for everyone.
We all have a responsibility to comply with this policy and ensure that our actions do not put ourselves or others at risk. If any accidents, incidents, or near misses occur, we must report them immediately to our line manager or supervisor.
The management team at EMSUK Learning is responsible for:
- Conducting risk assessments for all work activities and putting measures in place to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Providing us with adequate training and information to enable us to work safely.
- Supplying us with suitable equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other resources necessary to work safely.
- Carrying out regular health and safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with this policy and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigating any accidents, incidents, or near misses and taking appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Risk Assessment:
As part of our commitment to health and safety, EMSUK Learning will carry out a risk assessment for all work activities. This assessment will help identify potential hazards and assess the risks to our health and safety. Control measures will be put in place to eliminate or minimize risks, and these measures will be reviewed and updated regularly.
Training and Information:
EMSUK Learning will provide us with adequate training and information to enable us to carry out our work safely. This will include training on the proper use of equipment and PPE, as well as information on potential hazards and how to avoid them. If we have any questions or concerns about health and safety, we should speak to our line manager or supervisor.
